Originally established in 1964, it was a technical collaboration between Raymond and Helene Curtis Inc. USA to manufacture cosmetics and toiletries. Over the last half century, the company’s commitment to delivering the finest has seen the introduction of top quality products that have been embraced by consumers across India.

With our flagship brand ‘Park Avenue’, we are the leading player in the Men’s Grooming category, offering products across Fragrances, Body Care Solutions, Shaving Systems and Hair Care Solutions for the grooming needs of today’s man. Over the years, the Park Avenue range of Personal Care and Grooming products have earned a reputation for being amongst the best in the industry. Park Avenue products are developed using international standard fragrances and a high level of research to ensure that the products stand the test of quality and consistency.

We are proud to have Luxury Parfum collection, a range of exquisitely crafted parfums which are created by the best French perfumers.

Our offerings also extend into Home Care with our brand ‘Premium’ which is a leader in Room Fresheners.

Joint Venture

Raymond and Helene Curtis

(9 March) 1964 – It began as a joint-venture between Raymond and Helene Curtis USA.One of our first products was TruTone hair dye – still available in certain marketsin India.
1980

Raymond and Helene Curtis part ways

Raymond breaks up JV with Helene Curtis. Helene Curtis goes its way and we go on to create a legacy brand in the Indian market.
1988

Launch of Park Avenue

(30th March) 1988 – J.K. Helene Curtis launches Park Avenue – India’s first premium home grown male Personal Care brand.
2002

Launching Park Avenue Deodorants

J.K. Helene Curtis makes an entry into the deodorant market by launching Park Avenue Deodorants.
2004

First exports to Japan

We start looking abroad and make our first exports to Japan. Today, we export to Bangladesh, Middle East and Africa.
2012

Beer Shampoo launch

November 2012 – The first of its kind Beer Shampoo is launched with real beer in it. The product is a runaway success.
2014

No. 2 position in men’s deodorant market

Our deodorants have taken the markets by storm! Park Avenue deodorants attain the No. 2 position in men’s deodorant market.
2015

Farhan Akhtar joins the Park Avenue family

The male grooming story continues with our first celebrity endorser Farhan Akhtar and innovative product launches like REGEN shaving preparations.
2017

One Park Avenue

Park Avenue launches Premium Perfume Deodorants

Park Avenue brings entire portfolio under one Park Avenue and launches Eau-de-Parfum. Park Avenue becomes No. 1 in Modern Trade in Male Deodorants category.
2018

No. 1 in Modern Trade

Kartik Aryan joins the Park Avenue family as brand ambassador; Park Avenue becomes No. 1 in Modern Trade in the Shaving Cream category.
